What will happen with the internet?

One of the ways writers make money is to 1) write an article 2) put it on a website and 3) place some ads next to it. If you write popular articles, you can earn enough money to write more popular articles.

Chatbots are getting better at extracting information from the web and relying it to the user, without them ever visiting the original web page. How does it make financial sense for the writer to keep writing and put the articles on a public website?

It doesn't, so writers won't. Articles will be hidden behind paywalls, hidden from chatbots (if we somehow solve the Proof of Being a Human problem). How will chatbots learn about what's happening in the world? How are they going to keep being relevant?
